As part of its activities, HOMEOCO collects and uses the following information:

The use of such personal data is carried out under HOMEOCO’s responsibility and in accordance with applicable regulations.

When you provide personal data that you have collected directly or indirectly from another person, it is your responsibility to ensure that such person has authorized you to share their personal data with HOMEOCO and has been duly informed of this Privacy Policy.

1 User Data

1.1 What personal data is used?

  • Information provided through the contact form available on the website, namely: first name, last name, email address, and your message;
  • Information related to browsing the website or the Service, such as IP address, operating system, browser type, pages visited, and data contained in log files (date and time of connection, actions performed) collected during browsing;
  • Service usage data, meaning exchanges with the conversational agent (Input Data and Output Data), where such information may be considered personal data.

Users are reminded that they must not provide any personal data when using the Service, meaning any information relating to an identifiable natural person, whether themselves or a third party, as Input Data, as specified in our Terms and Conditions of Use.

1.2 For what purpose(s) is this personal data used (purposes and legal bases)?

  • To process requests submitted through the contact form available on the website, based on HOMEOCO’s legitimate interest;
  • To provide access to the Service, for the performance of the contract (Terms and Conditions of Use);
  • To measure website traffic, improve user experience, ensure security, and perform debugging activities, based on HOMEOCO’s legitimate interest.

2 Customer Data

2.1 What personal data is used?

  • Identification data (identity, electronic contact details);
  • Financial and economic information.

2.2 For what purposes is this personal data used (purposes and legal bases)?

  • To create a Customer account and provide access to the subscription-based Service, either for the implementation of pre-contractual measures or for the performance of the contract (Terms and Conditions of Sale);
  • For accounting purposes and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations;
  • For marketing purposes and customer relationship management between HOMEOCO and the Customer, based on HOMEOCO’s legitimate interest.

3 How long is the data retained?

  • Data required for audience measurement is retained for a maximum period of 24 months.
  • Technical logs used for security and debugging purposes are retained for 12 months.
  • Service usage data relating to Users who are not logged into an account is retained only for the duration of the session (deleted when the browser is closed).
  • Service usage data relating to Customers is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship plus 3 months (Customers may manually delete conversations at any time).
  • Data collected through the contact form and related communications is retained for 3 years after the last contact or, for Customers, for the duration of the contractual relationship plus 3 months.
  • Data processed for marketing purposes is retained for 3 years after the last contact.
  • Data processed for invoicing purposes is retained for 10 years from the closing date of the accounting year during which the invoice was issued.
  • Data processed for debt recovery purposes is retained until full payment of the invoice.

4 Who has access to your data?

  • HOMEOCO personnel who need access to your data in order to respond to your requests, provide the Service, or manage the customer relationship.
  • Service providers entrusted by HOMEOCO with certain activities, such as IT service providers, hosting providers, AI model providers, online payment service providers, and accounting firms.

Your personal data may be transferred outside the European Union, particularly to the United States, through HOMEOCO’s service providers. Such transfers are governed by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.

5 What rights do you have regarding your personal data?

You have the following rights regarding your personal data, under the conditions provided by applicable regulations:

  • Right of access: exercising this right allows you to know whether personal data concerning you is being processed and to obtain a copy of it in an understandable format.
  • Right to rectification: you have the right to correct inaccurate data concerning you or complete data where necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is used.
  • Right to erasure: you have the right to request the deletion of personal data concerning you.
  • Right to restriction of processing: in certain circumstances, you have the right to request that the use of some of your data be temporarily frozen.

  • Right to determine what happens to your data after your death: you may provide us with instructions regarding the handling of your personal data after your death.
